I've uploaded my first Gingersnaps tutorial today. The theme for this month is 'recycled supplies'. If you'd like to know how to make the background effect on this card, pop over to Gingersnaps for a step-by-step photo tutorial. Hope you like it!
Fantastic tutorial on GC, Katy!! I just got some new Glimmer Mist colors and I've gotta try this - it looks so quick and easy, with such stunning results! Your cards are beautiful!
Hi Suz, I am so pleased you liked it :). I've never used Sticky Fingers but I would think any kind of spray ink would work. I chose spray ink because it's nice and wet with a strong pigmentation - there is nothing special about Glimmer Mist in the context of the tutorial.
You could use re-inkers mixed with water in a spray bottle - that would certainly do the trick. HTHs and thanks for your kind comments :).
Katy, I love this technique, and your tutorial is fabulous! I'll never again throw my foil into the recycle bin, knowing it can end up looking this beautiful! Thanks for the inspiration!
