Monoprinted Card

Sharing a quick card I made as part of my demo for Stitches today. It's got a monoprinted background using the Grafix Impress Monoprinting Plates

I didn't take any step pictures of this process but the background is created with a stencil and corrugated card to make the lines. It's finished with stamps from Wendy Vecchi.

In case you were wondering...

...what I was up to at Stitches - here's a short video of one of the techniques I was demoing for Grafix and Sakura.

I'm using the Grafix Impress Monoprinting Plates - fantastic value alternatives for monoprinting which can be used with any kind of paint or ink.

Here I've used them with Koi brush pens (lush product with SO much pigment!) to make a watercolour effect print.
